Some time ago, if you wanted to mix music and become a DJ, you needed a lot of money for buying professional equipment and also a lot of time for studying the basics of mixing. But because computer software evolved so much, now everybody can mix music. All that's required is a computer, a sound card and a pear of speakers or headphones. And of course a specialized application.

Programs like Disco XT can really help you in this case. This Windows program allows you to mix music just like a professional DJ in no time, without having to learn the basics of mixing.

After the program is installed, the user will first need to configure the sound card which will be used by Disco XT and also add some audio files into the program's interface. This operation can also be performed later on. After loading the desired audio files into the program's interface, one can load them onto each of the two available decks.

After loading the audio songs on the decks, the user will be able to mix them together and automatically adjust the tempo, for making the mix sound perfect. Optionally, one can take advantage of the large number of filters included in the application and can also use samples, for making the mix more interesting.

When importing audio files, Disco XT will automatically read the ID3 tag information from each song and will organize the entire music according to the tag information. This will make it easier to find a certain song.
